Collecting and recycling used printer ink cartridges and mobile phones can become a valuable source of extra income for your charity. We pay you for every cartridge you collect from our published list! We also pay high prices for any unused / surplus items such as inkjet, laserjet cartridges, drum units, fuser units and transfer belts.
The additional income you can raise through ink cartridge recycling could be useful for your charity in so many ways, perhaps to fund:
New Equipment
Staff Training
Awareness Campaigns
By publishing your collection campaign, you can encourage the public to donate their used ink cartridges to you, bringing you even more income, at the same time as raising awareness for your charity's valuable work. A great way of raising funds for your charity is to encourage local organisations to recycle using our scheme and getting them to donate their proceeds to your cause. We work with many charities who find this a great way of boosting any fund raising goals.
Schools, businesses and individuals can also choose to nominate a chosen charity to receive payment for the ink cartridges they collect. If they decide to donate their payment to a charity, we will send them a report (if you wish) so they can be sure your charity has received the money.
Remember, all collections are free of charge, so that the full value of the empty cartridges can be donated to your charity.
Once the account is activated and you login you will then have access to the cartridge price list.
Ideas to promote the recycling scheme through your charity:
EmptyCartridge Recycling Ltd can provide you with a free page on our website that any organisation / individual can go to and start recycling their items on behalf of your charity. To see an example of one of these pages go to www.emptycartridge.co.uk/chase.asp
To promote raising funds through our scheme we can provide you with freepost bags. These can be given out to members/organisations/individuals who want to support your charity. The bags are provided free of charge and are for inkjet cartridges and mobile phones. Charities often find that including these in a newsletter an effective way of fund raising. The bag can have your logo printed on (this will need to be provided to us) and has a unique barcode (your account number) this allows us to insure the funds go to your charity.
Posters are avaliable on request to promote our scheme and your charity.
COMING SOON! A banner can be downloaded and put onto your website as a link to our scheme and show how organisations can donate.
Payment for cartridges:
Upon receipt of your empty cartridges / mobile phones, our warehouse staff will process the goods (each cartridge is individually inspected to determine whether or not the cartridge will print once recycled) and a report will be raised for the total amount of acceptable empty cartridges/phones you have returned. You will receive a a purchase order for the collection requesting a VAT invoice. Payment will be made once you accrue a balance of £30. You will normally receive payment approx 21 to 30 days of us receiving your empty cartridges.
Once you have registered you can view your account and breakdowns of the items received with monetary values by logging in to www.emptycartridge.co.uk/orders
Please note that we do not just visually inspect inkjet cartridges, we are one of the only companies that uses a ST200 shop tester. This enables us to give you a true evaluation as to whether your cartridge is working or non-working. Most companies only visually inspect, if this is the case your cartridge may be seen to be faulty and classed as a reject when it is actually electrically sound.
