Dogs for the Disabled Recycling Page
Dogs have the power to change lives. Research has shown that dogs can improve our physical health, reduce stress and develop self-esteem. They can help increase our opportunities to socialise and improve a child’s concentration. Those positives become even greater when a dog is partnered with a disabled person. It’s also why we are constantly striving to find innovative ways to help people.
Dogs for the Disabled is working to provide solutions to help people with a wide variety of different disabilities and conditions; from assistance dogs helping children and adults with physical disabilities and families affected by autism, to pet dog autism workshops, and innovative new projects working in schools and residential care settings.
The charity must raise £12.000 to fund each dog from birth to fully trained Assistance Dog and nearly £20.000 to fund the dog for its working life.
In partnership with EmptyCartridge Ltd a leading recycling company, we have developed a scheme to turn your empty inkjet and toner cartridges into valuable funds to help continue our work.
If you would like to help us raise funds for Dogs for the Disabled whilst at the same time reducing the amount of electronic waste consigned to landfill.
Recycling in larger volumes
If you are looking to recycle in larger volumes i.e. quantities of 50 or more inkjet cartridges, you must ensure that you check the lists above to ensure that what you are sending in is accepted on the scheme. If your items are eligible, please call us on 01908 477533 to set up a free recycling account. Once your account is in place, you will be able to access online instructions on how to package your items and how to arrange a free courier collection. All proceeds would go to Dogs for the Disabled.
