Shipping
In order to maximise the returns on items you collect, we would be please if you would note the following guidelines.
- We will accept all laser toner cartridges and inkjet cartridges as listed on our current published price list. The types of product and values can vary slightly on a month-to-month basis.
- IMPORTANT,we can only pay if you have 30 or more items of valueor60 per pallet or 100 per cage, this is due the cost of diesel, courier fuel surcharge, safe disposal under the WEEE Directive, and Environment Agency fees. We can still collect less and any value we be donated to charity.
- Due to the Post office charging rules and higher costs we now have to now deduct 10p per Epson/Canon tanks/Ribbons.
- To achieve this, laser cartridges should be removed from the original packaging, and placed in a strong box with a protective wrapping such as a plastic bag or newspaper wrapped around them, to safeguard from damage or using the bundling packing. For the safety and security of your consignment, correct sealing of your box is just as important as proper cushioning. A good seal will strengthen the box. To close a box securely, do not use masking tape, cellophane tape, duct tape, string or paper over-wrap. A strong polypropylene or PVC “box sealing” tape 5 cm or more in width should be used.
- Most our collections are carried out by our own vehicle or carriers, and to allow for a smooth collection service, may we please ask you to ensure the lid on your collection box is closed and sealed securely with tape before the driver calls in to collect and let someone else know if you are unable to be there. There will be a charge for a failed collection (please see front of price list). This will allows us to continue to provide a free delivery/collection service.
- We would like you to note the following cartridges in particular we are unable to accept.
- All Lexmark and Xerox compatibles of Hewlett Packard and Canon cartridges.
- Most printer fusers (except those listed), ribbons, Drums, photocopier bottles, transfer belts and bottles or tanks.
- We do not pay for remanufactured cartridges containing aftermarket casing, new build cartridges.
- IMPORTANT, we cannot currently recycle toner bottles, photocopier bottles, tanks, tubes and ribbon cartridges. If we receive these items, we will have to deduct/charge 50p each for their safe disposal.
- If in doubt please refer to current price list or call 01908 609763 for advice.
- Many of our competitors have introduced a collection charge for every collection and many more will follow suit. EmptyCartridge Recycling Ltd has no intentions at present to introduce collection charges.
- We will endeavour to issue payment within 30 to 40 days of collection date. Payment will be made once you accrue a balance of £30.
The seller agrees that by placing a collection request with EmptyCartridge Recycling Ltd they are accepting, without variation, these Terms and Conditions.
All laser / inkjet / mobile phones cartridges received are subject to examination.
EmptyCartridge Recycling Ltd cannot be held responsible for items lost in the post or any other liability outside of the control of the company.
