Dogs for the Disabled Recycling Page
Dogs have the power to change lives. Research has shown that dogs can improve our physical health, reduce stress and develop self-esteem. They can help increase our opportunities to socialise and improve a child’s concentration. Those positives become even greater when a dog is partnered with a disabled person. It’s also why we are constantly striving to find innovative ways to help people.
Dogs for the Disabled is working to provide solutions to help people with a wide variety of different disabilities and conditions; from assistance dogs helping children and adults with physical disabilities and families affected by autism, to pet dog autism workshops, and innovative new projects working in schools and residential care settings.
The charity must raise £12.000 to fund each dog from birth to fully trained Assistance Dog and nearly £20.000 to fund the dog for its working life.
In partnership with PrinterCartridge Recycling Ltd a leading recycling company, we have developed a scheme to turn your empty inkjet cartridges, mobile phones and unused surplus cartridges into valuable funds to help continue our work.
